From the book, Making a Home
With minimal organizing, you can enjoy the simple home pleasure of a well-stocked linen closet.

The Well-Stocked Linen Closet
The old-fashioned idea of a well-stocked linen closet is again in vogue. Who can resist sweet-smelling sheets and fluffy towels?

If you have a designated linen closet near the bath or master bedroom, you may want to evaluate the layout to see if shelves should be reconfigured or more shelves added to maximize storage potential.

Perhaps you'd like to organize with baskets or trays, or bring in ironing or cleaning equipment. The choice is yours.

If your home doesn't have a designated linen closet, you'll need to store linens in satellite locations throughout the house.

For instance, you can create extra linen storage on a closet shelf, in under-the-bed storage boxes, or in a free-standing storage unit in the bathroom.
